Hi. I'm Alison. For over 20 years, I've been immersed in the study of movement, embodiment, and awareness.
After 15 years of teaching, I believe there is a core skill that everyone needs: inner listening. Sounds simple but the still small voice of truth is often drowned out by a frazzled and reactive nervous system.
When you breathe better, you soothe the nervous system and create space for presence, peace and inner listening.

This is intended for all levels of practitioner. There will not be fast flowing or advanced postures. However, if you have an acute injury or limited mobility, this may not be appropriate for you. Here are a few poses and common transitions the practices will include:
For meditation, no experience is necessary. A willingness and openness is essential. Meditation can be done in any seat where you are comfortable, including a meditation cushion or chair. You can lay down but be wary of falling asleep!
Movement practices can be done without props. And props enhance your practice, including accessibility and efficacy of the postures. The following props will be given as options:
